Watching Infernal Affairs for the first time (saw The Departed a while back) and my crush on Tony Leung just grows. Oh, it amused me when the actors playing the younger selves of Tony Leung and Andy Lau were flipped from what I thought. Young!Andy looks like young!Tony to me. IDEK.
Anyhow, it’s good so far. I’m interested to see how Scorsese changed it (or if he made any plot changes at all). I do love HK films but don’t watch enough, there’s a gritty charm to it somehow.
PS: I have to make a note to myself to watch all of Tony Leung’s filmography, really.
